Provinces, (SANA) - Units of the armed forces on Saturday destroyed thermal rockets and mortars for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the surrounding of Safir Maaloula Hotel and on the road linking the villages of Housh Arab and Shahta Barta in Damascus Countryside, a military source told SANA.
The source added that the army units destroyed six cars destroyed the weapons loaded on them and killing the terrorists inside near al-Jam'iyat area, at the crossroads of al-Sarkheh and to the south of Safir Maaloula Hotel.
Earlier, a military source said that terrorists' gatherings were destroyed near the roundabout of Safir Maaloula Hotel and in Wadi el-Salib and the roundabout of Mar Sarkis.
The army destroyed a mortar and thermal rockets.
The source added that the army units continued chasing members of terrorist groups in the mountains of Maaloula.
The source added that units of the armed forces destroyed terrorists' hideouts and gatherings in Khan al-Shih, Drosha, Mugher al-Mir, Ko'a al-Zayat on Khan Dannoon road in Damascus Countryside, killing and injuring a number of them.

The source added that a rocket launcher and a depot, along with 5 cars loaded with weapons and ammunition were destroyed in Bannish city.
Terrorists were also killed in Saraqb city, among them leader of the so-called ''Ahrar Saraqeb Battalion.''
The source pointed out that army units eliminated terrorist concentrations in Sarmin town, most of them non-Syrians and affiliated to the so-called ''Dawood Brigade'' and ''Ahrar al-Shamal Brigade'', as another unit destroyed terrorist dens in the villages of Sarjeh, Bzabour, Bennish, Martin and Maarbleit with the weapons and terrorists inside.

Army operations continued in Homs, with an army unit killing a number of terrorists who were stationed at the cement center in the city of al-Rastan in the countryside, an official source told SANA reporter.
Terrorists Bassam Suleiman, Mohammad Atreh, Mohammad Shneir, Ata Shihab and Mustafa al-Tawil were identified among the dead.
The source added that units of the armed forces destroyed a weapons and ammunition warehouse near the entrance of al-Ghajar village in the countryside of al-Rastan and killed members of armed terrorist groups near a school in al-Rastan city and near Essein Hussein village.
A number of terrorists were killed and others were injured in the neighborhoods of al-Warsheh and al-Qarabis in the city of Homs, according to the source.
The source also mentioned that an armed terrorist group targeted with a mortar shell al-Senter building in Jouret al-Shayah neighborhood, causing material damage but no casualties.
