Assad Interviews
In contrast to the US Government's strident rhetoric on the Syrian conflict and Obama's attempts to bully Congress and western governments to support an illegal military intervention in Syria, it might be worth reading three 'sober' interviews given by the Syrian President recently.
The first was given to the German newspaper FAZ on 17 June 2013 and the second to Russian Journalists on 26th August 2013, five days after the 'chemical' event. The third is an Assad interview with Le Figaro recorded on 3 September 2013. All interviews consist of the original text in English, unedited and without comment.
